Local Student Driver

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers. Our Student Driver Program has graduated over 300 students since its origination. We equip our fleet with the latest radar and safety technology, including adaptive braking, collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All trucks are new with automatic transmissions for a smooth ride.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload 600 - 1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops
• Learn how to drive a tractor-trailer
• Interact with customers

Requirements

• Must be able to provide a valid Texas Class A Permit or Texas Class A CDL
• Proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States
• Pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am - 5:00 am
• Home on weekends
