Local Office Leader, Southern Wisconsin
Position Summary
WSP is seeking a strategic, collaborative, entrepreneurial and client-focused professional to serve as Local Office Leader, Southern Wisconsin with a focus on municipal, county and state clients supporting the operational performance, growth, and leadership of our Wisconsin Transportation Practice.

- Aid in recruiting and retention efforts driving toward WSP as the employer of choice.

- Manage client relationships and cross-selling opportunities across WSP’s business lines.
- Represent WSP in civic and industry forums to enhance visibility and influence.
- Support strategic growth initiatives to expand market share and client base in Wisconsin.
- Provide support for key regional pursuits, contribute to regional strategic initiatives and client engagement.
- Develop strategic plan and contribute to the strategic direction of the Wisconsin practice.
- Contribute to the delivery of technical work including integrated multi-modal systems, complete streets and safety related projects.
- Support regional and national business line safety initiatives as a subject matter expert and thought leader.
- Promote technical excellence and innovation in service delivery.
- Encourage staff development, independent thinking and innovation.
- Help execute local growth and business development strategies.
- Monitor project performance and ensure delivery excellence.
- Support financial and operational metrics including net revenue, EBITDA, DLM, DSO and cash collections and staff utilization.
- Lead and manage key pursuits - identify champions, technical staff and partnerships to align teams to secure new work.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the A/E/C industry, with a focus on transportation.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with business acumen and client service orientation.
- Familiarity and relationships with Wisconsin DOT, municipal and county agencies, and local business partners.
