Local Full-Time Night-Shift Transportation Dispatch Position

Description Job Responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating, communicating, and managing efficient routing, driver assignments, critical decision-making, and energized by servicing all customers’ needs, external and internal, in an efficient/effective and composed manner Essential Responsibilities Monitor customers’ inventory levels using Lifeline Coordinate all loads to ensure timely deliveries and efficient/effective routing Ensure Drivers have accurate and timely delivery data, including tank sizes, directions, loading numbers, and special equipment requirements, and provide on-demand assistance as needed Send detailed emails to all dispatch personnel at the end of your shift to inform others, and ensure smooth shift transitions Communicate effectively, in a timely manner, to customers when issues arise to keep them updated and allow them to make changes if necessary Effectively enter orders into “CSI.
