Local Driver - Home Nightly

About the role

White Cap is North America’s leading distributor for professional contractors, supplying everything needed to build construction projects including stadiums, roads, bridges, highways, and residential housing. As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you’ll coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites while adhering to DOT regulations and maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

You may also assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring manifests and paperwork are accurate. This role generally requires 2-5 years of experience and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites
• Follow DOT regulations and vehicle maintenance protocols with a focus on safety
• Ensure accuracy of manifests and all delivery paperwork
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid license endorsement(s) for the class of vehicle being operated
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents
• Spanish language proficiency
