Your Education And Experience
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months’ related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Your Qualifications
- Must possess CDL (Commercial Drivers License)
- Must possess or obtain a Fed Med card
- Satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
Pay
Hours: 2nd shift. Hours would be Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm for 2 weeks, then Monday-Friday 4pm-12am for 2 weeks.

Skills
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of all tractor-trailer equipment and complete all required paperwork.
Reports directly to the Fleet Operations Manager.
Operate equipment safely.
Drive tractor trailer combinations to transport products.
Perform yard spotter duties as assigned.
Load and unload trailers when necessary.
Re-palletize product to customer specification when required.
Complete necessary paperwork to include but not limited to: vehicle condition reports, bills of lading, storage trailer seal verification.
When required, communicate any mechanical breakdowns or accidents to Sargento maintenance personnel, leasing company personnel, and Sargento Legal.
May use electronic devices to communicate with dispatch, transmit information and send/receive messages.
Must use ELD when logging hours.
May be required to make operational decisions when opportunities arise during work shift.
Transfer tractor-trailer equipment to external repair locations as required.
Fueling of tractor and trailers.
Occasionally wash out trailers when needed.
Weekend/overtime work may be required.
