About the Opportunity:The LOCAL DISPATCHER role is central to managing daily operations by coordinating moving and cleaning crews, ensuring schedules are maintained, and serving as the primary contact for customers and teams during service days. This position contributes to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by managing logistics and addressing real-time challenges. Responsibilities:Coordinate and schedule daily moving and cleaning crews in local service areasCommunicate job details, routes, and updates to drivers and field teams promptlyAct as the main liaison between customers and crews for day-of logisticsMonitor job progress and adjust schedules for delays, cancellations, or last-minute requestsMaintain accurate dispatch logs, job records, and track crew availabilityHandle customer inquiries and service issues professionally and promptlyAssign vehicles and equipment to optimize efficiency Requirements:Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, or scheduling preferred; moving industry experience is a plusStrong communication and multitasking abilities in fast-paced settingsProficiency with scheduling software, Google Maps, or dispatch toolsAbility to problem-solve quickly and maintain composure under pressureExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailCustomer service experience with a professional and friendly attitudeReliable, punctual, and a cooperative team player Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
