Local Delivery Driver-Crate Builder

Local delivery and crate-building position based in Wichita, KS.

About the role

Drive a company van and box truck for local delivery and pick-up of aerospace parts and goods. Build large wooden crates for shipping parts, perform vehicle inspections, and assist with general shop duties.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload company vehicles
• Complete daily vehicle inspection logs
• Clean and maintain delivery vehicles
• Receive, count, and log parts for delivery
• Build and repair wooden shipping crates
• Break down cardboard boxes as needed
• Perform other related duties to support shop operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history
• Ability to pass security screening and driving test for facility access
• One year of local driving experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Skills

• Knowledge of the Wichita metro area
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent attendance record
