Local Delivery Driver - Class A Part Time

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Part‑Time Class A Delivery Driver based out of our DeForest, WI branch. We are a local, family‑owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest for over 130 years, delivering to 11 states from five locations. Our drivers are the primary point of contact with customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for accuracy and inspect products for damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery records.
• Operate both Class B and Class A vehicles, including shuttling trailers between branches.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operate vehicles safely at all times.
• Drive and unload in varying weather conditions.
• Deliver to customers professionally and address questions or concerns.
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly.
• Lift up to 50 lb frequently and 75 lb occasionally.

Requirements

• Valid interstate‑eligible driver’s license (21 years or older).
• Ability to work early‑morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM) depending on route.
• Access to reliable, punctual transportation.
• Pass a background check, including sex‑offender registry.
• Willingness to recertify DOT medical card and pass a DOT drug screen.
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query.
• Read and write English proficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders.
• Comfortable driving a tractor‑trailer.

Pay

• Less than 2 years experience: $27 per hour
• 2 – 9 years experience: $28 per hour
• 10 + years experience: $29 per hour

Schedule

• Work 2 – 3 days per week with flexible scheduling based on needs.
• Weekend availability required.
• Start time: early to mid‑morning, varying by route.
