Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

Work Schedule

1st Shift 6:30am-3:30pm

About the role

You will enjoy delivering products to customers, accurately counting and recording quantities, conducting inspections, and building relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day
• Touch freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers
• Build knowledge on how Linde's business operates and helps the organization grow

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School
• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Age 21 or older
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• Pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate

Qualifications

• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
