About the role

We are hiring a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) in Arlington, WA. The position is open and offers a competitive salary range of $28.50-35.25 per hour based on experience. The schedule is Monday - Friday from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Comprehensive family benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance. Responsibilities

  • Safety and Vehicle Compliance: Maintain a safe driving record, appropriate licensing, adhere to company safety policies, use PPE, identify workplace hazards, perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and comply with federal, state, local, and DOT regulations.
  • Delivery and Logistics: Load and unload service trucks, perform timely scheduled and non-route deliveries, ensure all necessary load documents are accurate and available.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain required company and DOT records, identify potential cylinder problems, pull orders from the warehouse, collect and submit customer payments.
  • General Duties: Provide support to internal and external customers regarding inventory and delivery needs, be available for occasional mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays for on-call duty.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
  • 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months
  • Appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
  • No more than two (2) traffic convictions or a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
  • No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
  • Able to work in a drug-free environment
  • Able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift experience
