Local Delivery Driver - CDL A - Cedar Rapids, IA

About the role

This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. The role involves delivering product to stores, rotating and stocking shelves, and interacting with store management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to scheduled customers by the end of the shift
• Mercandise all accounts to local standards
• Build small displays and set up promotional materials
• Generate invoices and settle daily cash and charges
• Unload pallets of product from the delivery vehicle
• Push/pull products weighing up to 150 pounds
• Reach, squat, and bend while delivering and merchandising products

Requirements

• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (or non-excepted intrastate status in Stockton, CA)
• Operating experience with trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license
• Ability to merchandise products and operate equipment
• Effective communication skills in English

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical
• Adhere to all DOT regulations
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, lift gates, hand trucks, and load bars
• Document DOT regulations
