Local Delivery Driver CDL A

About the role

This position involves delivering product to foodservice customers, rotating and stocking product, and interacting with store management and receiving personnel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product and execute all promotions
• Service all scheduled customers by the end of shift
• Mercandise all accounts to local standards
• Builds small displays and sets up promotional materials
• Generates invoice and is responsible for daily settlement of cash and charges
• Frequent interaction with store management and store receiving personnel
• Unloads pallets of product from the delivery vehicle with an electronic pallet jack or 2 wheel hand truck
• Puts the product in a designated area in the stores' backroom

Requirements

• 21 years or older
• Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (California locations except Stockton)
• Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license
• Adhering to all DOT regulations
• Merchandising products
• Using equipment to aid in hauling loads
• Operating equipment
• Documenting DOT regulations
