About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the operating room setting
- Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Monitor patient vital signs during and after surgery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
- Current RN license in Maryland
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
Skills
- Proficiency in operating room equipment
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, evenings, with a start date of August 2, 2026, and a duration of 13 weeks.
