Local Contract Ultrasound Technologist - Radiology - $50-54 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Document findings accurately and prepare reports for physicians.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• Passing score on the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registry exam.

Skills

• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

Shifts are 10 hours, nights.
