Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for a local contract job in Brunswick, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Accurately document patient information and results.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Current state-issued Ultrasound Technologist license.
• Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
