Local Contract Telemetry RN - $49-58 per hour
About the Role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Bronx, New York. This role involves caring for admitted patients in the Emergency Room Gating (ERG) area who are awaiting inpatient bed assignments. The RN will complete inpatient documentation, carry out physician orders, and administer medications. Patients will either be discharged from ERG or transported to an inpatient unit once a bed is available.
Responsibilities
- Complete inpatient documentation for patients in the ERG area.
- Carry out physician orders and administer medications.
- Monitor and care for patients awaiting inpatient bed assignments.
- Facilitate patient discharge or transport to inpatient units as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Specialty in Telemetry.
- Ability to work 34 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.
- Local contract position (no travel required).
