Local Contract Telemetry RN - $38-45 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Hopewell, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Work in a unit with 23 beds and 28 staff members, including 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 RNs, 1-3 PCTs, and 1 US Night Shift RN.
• Provide care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Perform telemetry monitoring and manage patient ratios of 1:4-1:5.
• Operate and manage telemetry equipment, including cardiac drips.
• Perform line placements and dialysis as required.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Telemetry Cardiac drips preferred but not required.
• Strong cardiac background and SD/PCU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in Med/Surg and/or PCU preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of telemetry equipment and procedures.

36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
