About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Surgical Technician for a local contract job in Northridge, California.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgery.
- Manage patient care and monitor their condition during and after surgery.
- Follow hospital policies and procedures related to infection control and sterilization.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Surgical Technician.
- Experience in a hospital or surgical setting preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program.
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficient in using surgical instruments and equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
