Local Contract Stepdown Registered Nurse - $35-42 per hour

About the Role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Stepdown for a position in Richmond, Virginia. This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts.

Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 10
• Number of Staff: 9 (Day Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 3 RNs, 1 CNA; Night Shift: 3 RNs, 1 CNA)
• Patient Ratios: 3-4:1
• Type of equipment: Hoyer lift
• EMR: Meditech

Typical procedures performed on the unit include wound care and heavy patient transfer needs.

Requirements

• Trauma experience (required)
• Wound care experience (required)
• Stepdown experience (preferred)
• Chronic vent with trach care (preferred)

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
