Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Stepdown for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Kansas
- Experience in step-down care preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
