About the role
Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Lakewood, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Assist with monitoring and managing patient conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Participate in rounds and meetings as required.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in progressive care units preferred.
- Knowledge of critical care and/or step-down nursing practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights.
- Passport required for travel.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 1 year of progressive care unit experience.
- Current BLS certification.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks.
Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with guaranteed hours and a PTO plan starting on day 1.
