About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week job in Lakeport, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in need
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Current California State License as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Experience working with adult populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the Praxis II exam
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology
- Proficiency in using speech therapy software
