About the role
RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week position in Salinas, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services to students in grades 7th–12th at a school site within the Salinas Union High School District.
- Work flexible hours, typically 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, or 8:45 AM – 3:45 PM, varying by school site.
- Manage an approximately 55-student caseload.
- Work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.
- Work shifts that may vary by school site.
- Contract dates: July 28 – May 29, 2026 (School Year 2025-2026), contingent upon interview and LiveScan clearance.
Requirements
- Must be credentialed in California.
- No SLPA credential required.
- Age group: 7th–12th grade (site assignment dependent).
- Must be available for in-person interviews.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current California State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with students in grades 7th–12th.
- Knowledge of educational assessment and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
