About the role

MHC clinical supervisor position with potential temp-to-perm, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 7 AM‑3 PM. The role provides clinical supervision, oversees treatment planning, quality assurance, staff training, program design, group curriculum, hiring, performance evaluation, scheduling, and on‑call responsibilities for the CCS program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and evidence‑based practices for addiction treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides supervision and consultation to mental health counselors and peer specialists, monitors milieu acuity, assigns client tasks as appropriate, assures development of treatment and crisis response plans.
  • Reviews clinical documentation for compliance with Federal, State, Program regulations, private payors, and accreditation; oversees Quality Assurance program.
  • Provides regularly scheduled supervision to program staff, reviews group dynamics, develops strategies to maximize client continuation and compliance; develops in‑service training for staff.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Director of the CBHC and the CBHC Medical Director, conducts ongoing review of the clinical program design and implements recommendations for improvement.
  • Develops and monitors group curriculum using evidence‑based techniques to meet client needs.
  • Participates in hiring, training, performance evaluation, and scheduling of staff as assigned.
  • Attends and participates in internal team meetings and external stakeholder meetings.
  • Shares in on‑call responsibilities for the program as applicable.
  • Responsible for day‑to‑day clinical oversight of the CCS program to ensure quality patient care consistent with regulatory agency standards and evidence‑based practices for addiction treatment.
  • Works with the CBHC Nurse Manager and under the direction of the Program Director (or assumes responsibility in the Director’s absence) for daily operation of the program.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Rehabilitative Counseling, or a closely related field.
  • LMHC or LICSW license preferred.
  • Ability to relate sensitively to the CCS population.
  • Interest and willingness to work in a multicultural setting.
  • Customer‑service orientation.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, Monday‑Friday 7 AM‑3 PM.
