AHS Staffing is seeking a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) School Psychologist (Certified) for a local contract job in Algonquin, Illinois.

Qualifications

• You must have a Master's Degree in Psychology and a PEL with the school psychology endorsement

Role Overview

The School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well-being and works with students and families to promote student success. The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied upon to provide insight and guidance to the team regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Administering diagnostic and curriculum-based assessments
• Using intelligence and academic performance testing to determine student diagnoses and recommendations for specialized services
• Observing students in various academic and social settings to gain insight and data into students' overall functioning in school
• Providing consultative psychology services to parents and school staff as described in the IEP
