About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN SICU - Surgical Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in the SICU setting
- Perform assessments and develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain patient records and documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in SICU preferred
- Knowledge of surgical intensive care procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current BLS certification
