About the role

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated School Services Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract job in Tempe, Arizona. The position will start on July 16, 2026, and last for 45 weeks with 35.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop individualized recommendations to support student success.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and participation in educational settings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, compliance records, and service-related reports in accordance with state and district requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Arizona Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology License and Standard Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate.
  • Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • School-based experience conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and providing speech-language therapy services (Preferred).

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Arizona Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology License and Standard Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate.
  • Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
