Local Contract RN Step-Down PCU - $38-45 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Stepdown for a local contract nursing job in Springfield, Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provide step-down care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• A current, active, unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Missouri.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have 2 years of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of step-down care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
