About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a Med Surg / Telemetry setting
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
