Local Contract RN Long-Term Care/SNF - $32-37 per hour

About the role

LTC/SNF Facility in Iowa is in need of an RN Traveler. Crisis rates are being offered. Must have 2 years experience in working LTC/SNF, charge experience, AHA BLS, Pointclickcare, IA RN or compact license. Shifts are variable. Traveler must be flexible and accept any shift offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assess and document resident needs and progress.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact license.
• Two years of recent experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• PointClickCare experience preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for providing quality care to residents.

Skills

• Proficient in electronic health record systems.
• Knowledge of long-term care and/or skilled nursing practices.
