The PCU nurse, also called a step-down nurse, works in units such as cardiac stepdown, medical stepdown, neuro stepdown, surgical stepdown, and ER holding. PCU nursing operates between the levels of general and ICU care, and increasingly in critical care.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
