Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Stepdown Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients recovering from surgery or acute illness in a med-surg setting.
- Assist with patient care, medication administration, and documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in step-down care preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including 12-hour night shifts.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
