Local Contract RN Advanced Care/Med Surg - $60 per hour

About the role

Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Urbana, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients in Med Surg units.
• Assist with patient transfers from ICU to Med Surg units as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare providers.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of Med Surg experience preferred.
• Experience with critical care and post-surgical care is beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in computer systems used for patient care documentation.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
