Local Contract Respiratory Therapist - $42-46 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week duration at 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts, days shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory treatments.
• Assess patients' conditions and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Document patient care activities and progress in medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients.

• Proficiency in using respiratory equipment and monitoring devices.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
