About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Burlington, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and administer treatments as ordered.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising physician.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of respiratory equipment and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with a start date of August 17, 2026, lasting 13 weeks.
