- Patient Ratios: 5-7:1
- Techs per census: usually 2-4
- Type of equipment: Vitals machine, Baxter IV pumps, SCD’s, Bladder scanner
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: 12 hr shifts, every other weekend
- Floating policy: may be floated to other Med Surg depts.
Patient Experience Requirements
Rehab experience preferred

(unit secretaries and tech availability): Techs per census, usually 2-4

Procedures Performed on Unit
- Med administration to include IV’s, PICC, PEG tube admin;
- Bladder scans, Trach care, Tube feeding, Foley cath, Bladder irrigation, Blood Administration
