Local Contract Registered Respiratory Therapist – Neuro Diagnostics - $38-42 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Florence, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
• Administer treatments such as nebulization, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
• Proficiency in using respiratory equipment and technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Knowledge of pulmonary function tests and interpretation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
