Local Contract Registered Respiratory Therapist - $45-47 per hour

American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services under the direction of a physician.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, and peak flow monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Assess patient conditions and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Virginia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

12 hours per day, 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
