About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results.
- Administer treatments such as nebulization, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of respiratory equipment and techniques.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Computer proficiency, especially in electronic health records systems.
