Local contract Critical Care Float RN position in Urbana, Illinois.
About the role
Telemetry Step-Down (PCU) nursing role operating between general and ICU care levels, also extending into critical care. PCU is also known as cardiac stepdown, medical stepdown, neuro stepdown, surgical stepdown, and ER holding.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Experience in Critical Care Float or Telemetry Step-Down (PCU) nursing.
Schedule
- 13-week contract.
- 36 hours per week.
- 12-hour day shifts.
Pay
Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (exact amount to be determined). Additional financial incentives include:
- $600 travel bonus.
- Extra hour bonus for working over contracted weekly hours.
- Guaranteed stipend if facility calls you off.
