Local Contract Radiology Technologist - $44-48 per hour

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Birmingham, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various radiographic equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
• Accurately document patient information and images in the medical record system.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterilization of equipment.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Alabama.
• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
• Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited radiography program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.

Skills

• Proficient in using radiographic equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
