Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a local contract job in Baltimore, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in radiation therapy treatments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Monitor and adjust treatment parameters as necessary during procedures.
• Document patient information and treatment sessions accurately.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Maryland.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and radiation physics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
