Local Contract Progressive Care Unit RN - $51-60 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a talented local contract nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Corvallis, Oregon. This role is for a 13-week duration with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts, nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, skilled care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assess and document patient conditions, treatment responses, and progress toward goals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in progressive care units preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
