Local Contract PICU RN - $58-69 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for a position in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) in Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to critically ill pediatric patients under the supervision of a physician.
• Assess and document patient conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain sterile environments and follow infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and other nurses.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Experience in pediatric intensive care preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
