Local Contract Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation - $59-63 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Urbana, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop appropriate exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy in Illinois.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
