Local Contract Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient - $42 per hour

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting licensed physical therapists in providing outpatient physical therapy services to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in conducting evaluations and treatment sessions
• Help patients with exercises and activities to improve their physical condition
• Document patient progress and communicate with patients and referring physicians
• Ensure all patient care activities are performed in accordance with established protocols and standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
