Local Contract Physical Therapist - Acute Rehab - $49-53 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting September 7, 2026, in Salina, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kansas.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Skills

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of common physical therapy modalities and techniques.
• Ability to adapt to different patient populations and settings.
