About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a local contract job in Bemidji, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment programs.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Minnesota.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy principles.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems.
