The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 22 students in a school setting. Start date: 09/28/2026; duration: 34 weeks. Responsibilities

• Assess physical motor development, functional mobility, balance, and spatial movement skills to determine student special education service needs for a caseload of approximately 22 students.
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized physical therapy goals as part of students' IEPs.
• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to enhance physical access, functional movement, and participation across school settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, parents, and related service providers to recommend environmental modifications and assistive equipment.
• Maintain clear, compliant documentation, progress notes, and service logs in accordance with district guidelines.

Requirements

Valid West Virginia Physical Therapist license required.

Qualifications

School‑based or pediatric physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Schedule

Part‑time contract, 21 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts.
