Local Contract Physical Therapist - $41-43 per hour

About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a Hospital contract position in Eufaula, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy in Alabama.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping.
